Surprise Proposal at Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, Ohio

Cydney and Brandon’s proposal in the stunning Palm House at Franklin Park Conservatory was one of my favorite surprises I’ve ever captured. With the help of the bride’s brother and sister in law, Brandon created an experience full of romance and love that they'll both remember for the rest of their lives (with the help of gorgeous photos too of course!).

Franklin Park is famous for its holiday setup. From flourishing flowers to twinkling lights, beauty blooms around every corner. It’s the perfect backdrop for a proposal.

Brandon planned a trip to FPC for the holiday lights exhibit with Cydney and their closest family. What Cydney didn’t know is that he had secretly booked the Palm House.

The John F. Wolfe Palm House at Franklin Park is truly one of my favorite places in Columbus.

The Venetian fountain, lush tropical greenery, iron gazebos, and huge glass rooftop all make this Victorian-inspired space unique and inspiring.

Near the entrance, Brandon presented to Cydney a beautiful engagement ring: an emerald cut diamond set in classic yellow gold. Sophisticated and timeless, this ring was the stuff of dreams. Of course, Cydney said “YES,” and the two spent the rest of the evening smiling, laughing, and enjoying their deep, genuine love for each other.

From the top of the grand staircase, a trail of rose petals led to a table of champagne. Their excitement filled the whole space, which echoed with their family’s happy cheers.

The atmosphere was magical, so we walked around and took photos to celebrate and bask in the joy of the moment.

It was a party that I will never forget. Cydney and Brandon, here’s to a marvelous wedding (your day will be here before you know it!) and a lifetime of making even more magical memories together!
